So I beat this level back when it came out. I just never uploaded the video till now, and I'm honestly not sure why. It's a shame I had to record it in low detail mode though, but an accomplishment is still an accomplishment. Also the simplicity of the ldm has a unique charm in a way. The drop feels more empty which kind of adds to the atmosphere and theme ngl.

I want to say some things about this level and Zylenox's levels in general. I find something about Zylenox's style very nostalgic, which makes sense since we're a similar age, and his style tends to be inspired by things I'm nostalgic about, for example, Necrocide (one of my favorite levels of all time). A level inspired by the necromancer bossfight in Castle Crashers, with amazing animations and a nostalgic style.

The difference between this and Necrocide, however, is that I suck so I can't beat Necrocide, but this level is right down my alley difficulty wise. For a long time, I enjoyed Zylenox's levels at a distance, watching recordings of them, but never beating them myself. This is the first and only Zylenox level that I've been able to beat. I'm glad he made his last solo more accessible, and it would've been cool to see what more hard and insane demons from him would have looked like.

The gameplay in this level is a bit odd and unbalanced, but the way the sync flows is really really satisfying when you get it down. I'm glad there's at least one Zylenox level out there that I can appreciate the gameplay of. This is why it would have been cool to see more easier demons from him.

This level has a bitter sweet feeling at the fact that it's meant to be Zylenox's last solo level. While Zylenox says this isn't his best, I feel like it's his most impactful. This also had some more emotional punch for me since there were allegations going around about Zy at the time. (might have contributed to me not uploading this till now)... however, like 95% of allegations on the internet, they turned out to be really trivial and everyone forgot about them in a matter of weeks.

I have to say, Zylenox will always have my interest as a person. I watch his Minecraft content from time to time these days, and I've watched his videos for a while. He's a very down to earth and creative person, and that really shows in his levels.

While 2003Devon has a similar style and makes cool levels as well, he's never taken his levels as seriously as Zylenox did. Zylenox was really a pioneer in this community and game. I'll never forget his impact. Levels like this and creators like Zy are what help me remember to keep in mind what makes life interesting in the first place, something I forget a lot.
