“Gypsy Jazz” By Alfonso Ponticlli @ ComedyPlex, Oak Park
Alfonso Ponticlli brought his brand of Gypsy jazz to the underground club ComedyPlex. For the second month in a row they along with WDCB hosted a Saturday afternoon jazz show. Like last month they scored big time with a couple of hours of fine jazz music.This time we were treated to the gypsy jazz of Alfonso Ponticlli, who wowed the audience with his masterful musicianship. One of the highlights was this long insturmental with Mr. Ponticlli playing a dulcimer.
