Found this Electra radio-recorder released in the wild maybe a half-dozen years or so ago. Battery terminals were badly corroded and it needed a new belt but it had been let go with the owners manual. Even so, we could not find a production date for the wee beastie.
Fixed it up as best as we could - it's very finicky in regards to belt size - and it seems to have a problem with the bias oscillator as its own recordings sound pretty scratchy.
