Can ego death make the ego stronger?
Ego death is supposed to dissolve the identity but the ego is remarkably good at surviving. It can turn a psychedelic experience, spiritual awakening, or moment of ego dissolution into a new identity: the enlightened person, the awakened person, or the person who has gone further than everyone else.
In this Tuesday Night Live, I share my own 5-MeO-DMT ego death experience and explore the strange contradiction at the center of ego death: What happens when the experience meant to destroy spiritual superiority becomes its newest trophy?
