Here I take apart the idea that flywheels can be used to balance the loads from renewable energy. It is not possible.
I made a mistake in quoting 65p per KWh for gas, the decimal point is missing, it is 6.5p Per KWh but the calculations I did were based on the correct 6.5p per KWh.
