There are two ways a deep rooted fear leaves you.
The first one is the universe makes it happen. They break up with you. You screw it up. The thing you've been bracing against for years finally lands, and you're standing there afterward, still alive, forced to be present with what's in your body.
That's why it keeps coming back. That's why you keep dating the same type of person. It's not punishment, it's a lesson that keeps getting reassigned until you sit with it.
The second way is easier. You listen to it directly, before life has to arrange the demonstration.
That's what the walks are for. The hikes. The meditation. The silence. That's where you actually hear what's in there.
Scrolling is the opposite of that. So is grabbing a circumstance every time something in you gets loud.
The whole game is getting dislodged from your addiction to circumstances.
Easy way or hard way. You pick.
