Step inside the studio with Choreographer My’Kal Stromile as he brings his world premiere, The Leisurely Installation of a New Window to life, and discover five insights into his choreographic inspiration and career trajectory.
1️⃣ Stromile danced with Boston Ballet for six seasons before transitioning to choreography full time in 2024.
2️⃣ He premiered his first work for Boston Ballet, Form and Gesture, as part of Fall Experience 2023.
3️⃣ He has choreographed for numerous renowned institutions, including the Paris Opera Ballet, The Juilliard School, the Joyce Theater’s UNITE Ballet Festival, AILEY II, and Vail Dance Festival.
