The Planet Killer from Star Trek was seen in the Doomsday weapon of the original series. It was a planet devouring, neutronium plated, unstoppable superweapon of a defunct or extinct alien culture thousands of years gone. The USS Constellation was able to halt its advance, but technically it was not destroyed. So let's look at the lore of the Doomsday device and at what apocryphal tales exist around it.
