Welcome back to the channel! It has been a crazy few days here in Northern Michigan as we battle some serious winter weather. Between working on taxes and prepping for our trip to the Super Pet Expo in Manassas, Virginia (March 13th-15th!), we’ve been working overtime to keep the yard safe for the girls. The driveway and paths have been a literal skating rink, and keeping Memphis from slipping is our top priority.
In today's vlog, we show you our "sand and texture" trick to make the ice less slippery. We even found our hidden heat track mats to help melt the stubborn frozen layers! You’ll see Memphis, Kira, and Eleanor navigating the deep snow drifts, and Eleanor even decides to take a walk right across the middle of the frozen swimming pool! It’s a nerve-wracking but funny moment as they realize there is actually water (and a cover) somewhere deep beneath all that white stuff.
We also give the girls some of their favorite bully sticks using our Everchew holders to keep them safe while they chew. Memphis has been a little stiff after a few minor slips on the ice, so we are sticking to her red light therapy and a vet visit for the lump on her eyelid. Life is short, make memories with your dogs—even when it's freezing outside!
