This is my first ever attempt at a feature length film as well as a documentary. I shot this back in 2018 with my girlfriend at the time and a film crew for a week in Cleveland, Ohio in an attempt to make a sequel to my documentary short "Long Distance". Here, we take Amethyst on a road trip to meet up with her once beau but still very good friend, Kiki, and learn that despite the distance and despite no longer being together, love always survives and finds a way, even in new people.

Personal reasons, including a breakup, prevented the film from being finished on time and it was delayed numerous times. Postproduction finally went underway in 2020 during the COVID-19 outbreak and the quarantine gave me and the crew the necessary time to put it together properly and finally finish it, even if we couldn't all be in the same room. It's also sort of my way of saying goodbye and saying hello to the future and the relationships that will come with. Remember, love always finds a way.

The film was finally finished last January in 2021 but kept it from official release so it could compete in some film festivals. Now that the year is up, I say it's finally time people saw this film in all of its proper glory. It was definitely an emotional experience putting it together but with all said and done, I'm very much happy with it and I hope others find something in it.

Thanks to everyone for still being a part of my life and I look forward to seeing what the future has in store for all of us.
