I recently got to check out an early preview of The DioField Chronicle, an upcoming tactical JRPG by Square-Enix and Lancarse. Unlike other tactical JRPGs such as Final Fantasy Tactics, Tactics Ogre, and Triangle Strategy, The DioField Chronicle uses a real-time battle system similar to those seen in CRPGs.
