Sometimes the biggest red flag is not the mistake, it is what happens after someone clearly says they are uncomfortable.

Autistic individuals can need support, direct communication, and accommodations, but healthy relationships also require respecting boundaries. Repeated excessive texting, emotional dumping, guilt for saying no, or expecting someone else to manage your emotions are patterns worth noticing, especially when they continue after boundaries have been communicated.
