The Dial-admatic was made available in some supermarkets to aid shoppers. It was fitted to shopping carts, and allowed shoppers to keep track of their total expenditures so that they would not be out of pocket at the till. It is very rare, since most were disposed of when no longer wanted.

I apologise to the people of Minot, North Dakota for mispronouncing the name of your city.
