In a previous playthrough of LIMINAL WATERS, I discovered a way to get outside the map in Chapter 8. Most developers would patch something like that out immediately, but instead the developers did something I never expected.
After watching my videos, listening to my feedback, and even implementing some of my suggestions into recent updates, the developers decided to leave me a personal Easter egg far beyond the boundaries of the playable area.
In this video, I revisit the out-of-bounds area to uncover the secret and share my reaction to finding it for the first time.
LIMINAL WATERS has become one of my favorite liminal space games, and experiences like this are a big reason why. The attention to detail, the atmosphere, and the developers’ passion for the project continue to make every update worth exploring.
