In 2009 a young man named Jason Genova shared his dream of being a professional bodybuilder with the world. Filmed by him a crew of his highschool friends and uploaded to youtube, these videos would become popular on bodybuilding on websites and forums. However, few could predict the strange and convoluted world that would arise from such humble beginnings. Over time the curious onlookers became a cult following dedicated to witnessing Jason's journey. Despite failing to garner much wide spread notoriety, Jason Genova would become one of the most infamous and polarizing figures in the bodybuilding community. In this series we explore his rise, demise and uncertain future.
