In 197 BC a Roman army under Titus Flamininus invades Greece, not to conquer it, but to end the expansion of Philip V - King of Macedon and a man seeking to pick up the mantle of Alexander III. The world has changed since the heady days of Alexander, however, and in the rough hills of Cynoscephalae the Macedonian phalanx is about to come face to face with an army that will change the face of the ancient world.
