Most people think safe is the goal. Safe is the trap.
If you are in a dead end job or a dead end relationship, you already know the feeling. Your soul contracts. Something in you gets smaller every week and you tell yourself it is fine, because technically nothing is wrong.
That feeling is data. It is telling you that quote unquote safe is quietly costing you your life.
Here is what I have learned. Discomfort is not the enemy. Discomfort is the price of expansion. When you feel stretched, you are growing. When you feel nothing at all, you are dying slowly and calling it stability.
Everything has meaning based on the meaning we give it. So give that discomfort a new one. The tightness in your chest is not a warning sign. It is your capacity expanding.
Stop optimizing for comfortable. Start optimizing for alive.
