Alright so the assignment was to make an intro describing a specific scene in a tv show or movie. MAJOR Angel S5 spoilers ahead so beware:
So first off, I didn’t add channel name text and stuff since this is so story based so it’s kinda like an edit instead haha. So the main plot of the scene was in the episode before the season 5 finale when they all thought Angel had turned evil and tried to plan an intervention when he attacked them, but he put up a glamour spell so no one outside the room could hear him and told them exactly what was going on and how he’s undercover. This is why I chose each clip/effect.
The first 2 clips were before the glamour, where everyone was at each other’s throats pretty much
Abby’s angels and broken hearts were used for when he sent the assassin to kill Drogyn
The section in PTSD refers to a message Angel sent to them through one of the books (the message and the icon were what was shown
The two sections with Lilly referred to why Angel sent the assassin in the first place, he needed someone so pure to believe that Angel had turned evil so he could go undercover easily (Drogyn can’t lie)
The next 4 are showing how his friends stopped trusting him after this, and how he ended up separated from them
The part with black swan, the hostage, tongue twister, and the long goodbye are kinda complicated to explain, but basically Fred was killed by Knox while her body was hollowed out to make room for one of the old ones, Illyria (those were black swan and hostage). Angel explained that he didn’t actually have a role in her death like the others thought, he just didn’t want her death to mean nothing so he used it to get into the circle of the black thorn as his friend sacrifice thingy (tongue twister and the long goodbye)
The part with ghost town showed the glamour still being up, so while they’re having this conversation, all that’s seen from the outside is them fighting.
The part with TGJGBK and the paint splatters showed Angel explaining how he knew about the circle of the black thorn in the first place. In episode 12, before Cordelia died, she came out of her coma and kissed him, giving him one vision that told him that the circle existed. That was explained in this scene.
The paint splatters showed each of the members of the circle of the black thorn, as Angel joined them to find out who they were.
The next part with, well, Angel, is showing him becoming part of the group and therefore “forfeiting” his friends
The next 3 showed his initiation into the circle, where he had to kill Drogyn (who didn’t die by the assassin btw). The murder was shown in getting away with murder and twiilight (Angel is a vampire if you didn’t know haha), and the circle covering it up was I scream for ice cream. All of this was explained in the scene I’m describing.
Amber alert showed them breaking out of the glamour, pretending to be at each other’s throats again.
She can’t stop showed the last part of that scene, which was Hamilton (he’s evil, idk how to explain that), and he smiled thinking he’d won.
