This is my entry for round 2 of the 'Family Ties' contest hosted by my lovely friends Laura (lbchatterbox) and Vic (rockberryproductions). Shout out to Laura for helping me with a song - it was the perfect choice!

I'd like to dedicate this to my lovely GH partner in crime and one of my best friends, Kat.

For this round, we had to show the ups and downs of our favorite mother/child relationship. I chose to do Alexis and her three daughters from GH for my entry. I focused only on the girls as adults/teens, rather than as young children, as I feel they have had more emotional scenes as adults with their mum. I also only included Lexi Ainsworth's scenes as Kristina, as I prefer her in the role, and she has better storylines.

I included major storylines for each girl, including Sam's baby dying, and being diagnosed with leukemia; Kristina's domestic violence, and coming out as gay (and Alexis's struggle with this, but eventually being supportive); and Molly coming to terms with her dad being sent to prison. There are also some sweet, light hearted moments, and I love that quote Alexis said to her girls before she got married - "You will always be my true life partners."

I've done this relationship lots for collab parts before, but never as a whole video, so I really enjoyed making this!
