Welcome to the high-energy, interactive live-action videogame that is The Dark Room! It’s strange, insane and addictive. It’s a comedy night and retro gaming fused into a deranged, anarchic improv game show. It’s a choose-your-own-adventure, so choose it!
How do you play? The audience is trapped in a retro text adventure game with a sadistic end-of-level boss. Members of the crowd pick options off the screen and try to survive a world of traps and puzzles hosted by improv comedy overlord Mr John Robertson. Escape and win £1000! Fail and YA DIE and get a prize that is, let’s be fair, utter crap.
