Annnd, the japanese covers are back (for just this one video). Honestly, I think Summertime Record is objectively the best KagePro song (I like Yobanashi Deceive more and I think Lost Time Memory is the best introductory song, but Summertime Record made me cry over characters I barely knew or understood).
This song is just so beautiful. No matter how many times people cover it or what quality their cover is, I can't help falling in love with this song every time I hear it. The lyrics aren't even that mindblowing; it just HITS. And it's so melancholic, the perfect embodiment of "this isn't a 'goodbye'; it's a 'see you later'. I just don't know how much later that will be". Just as David Toth can't fight the feels when listening to Ayano's Theory of Happiness, I can't fight the feels when I hear this song.
