There's an account going viral right now, a man calling himself Ray Greywolf, presenting as a Native elder. he's using a soft voice, has gentle wisdom, and is talking to people about loneliness and family. only he's not real. he's AI. then the whole thing funnels to a book.
What's stuck with me is the comment section-- you guys, it's truly upsetting. Older folks saying he feels like the grandfather they never had. People typing in tears. People saying he's the reason they're finally going to cut off their kids, their siblings, the family they've got left. And a machine is the one telling them to do it.
My grandparents came to mind. Yours probably will too.
