In exactly two months America will celebrate its 250th anniversary. On July 4th, 1776 our Declaration of Independence was officially declared. America is not a nation (ethnos) but maybe a country. It is more an ideology perhaps. If so what is its ideology? To discover it one must go back to the 1776 pamphlet war between people like Thomas Paine and John Wesley and John Fletcher. Fletcher wrote the book "American Patriotism Farther Confronted with Reason, Scripture, and the Constitution: Observations On the Dangerous Politicks Taught by Mr. Evans, and Dr. Price. with a Scriptural Plea for the Revolted Colonies"
Indeed the politicks and principles our revolutionary experiment is founded on has proven to be at great odds with the teachings of Jesus. Peter discusses some of these dangerous principles that are heading America to corruption and then destruction. Some say its the Jews and others say its the Muslims but Peter says its us and our anti-Christian principles.
