Most everyone has been through a stressful event in life. When the event causes a lot of stress, it is called a traumatic event. Our first responders, police officers and any other ‘protector’ often experience higher rates of depression and mental health issues resulting from PTSD. In "Protecting the Protectors," Season 1, Episode 2 of Wyoming PBS' award-winning series, A State of Mind, we hear first hand from our first responders about the challenges they face.
