Roost shooting one evening, decoying crows from the hide the next — this was a full crow shooting weekend.
I spent the weekend crow shooting with Rob Speed (Speedy) and Beejay, starting with an evening roost shoot before settling into a proper day decoying crows from the hide. Real ground, real birds, and plenty of decision-making when the crows wouldn’t commit.
From reading flight lines and adjusting decoy patterns to knowing when to stay put and when to move, this film shows what a genuine crow control weekend actually looks like — not rushed, not staged, and done with people who know their ground.
