The Crimson Diamond is a 2024 EGA/classic inspired adventure game from sole developer Julia Minamata which pays homage and draws inspiration from the classic adventure games of Sierra, namely Laura Bow and to a lesser extent King's Quest. The game tells the story of budding geologist and mineralogist Nancy Maple who travels north to Crimson, Ontario to look into the discovery of a sizable diamond. Once she arrives at the lodge where she'll be staying, she encounters a cast of characters each with their secrets to keep. After an untimely death at the lodge in which Nancy suspects foul play, she must act as a detective and put her background in geology to work to try to unravel the mystery.
