Growing up in San Diego, Animation Supervisor Kevin Estey was inspired by filmmaking and storytelling. Following USC Film school, an unpaid internship in New York led to a career as an animator, with Kevin eventually joining Wētā FX in Wellington, NZ. It was here he animated the iconic Gollum, receiving an Annie Award for his work, and most recently, a third nomination for character animation in A Minecraft Movie.
