Call of Duty World at War is one of the most unique entries in the entire franchise. Released in 2008, it pushed the series into a darker and more brutal direction, from its gritty campaign to the legendary Zombies mode that changed COD forever. In this video, I take a look back at why so many players still see World at War as a forgotten classic, how it set the stage for the Golden Era of Call of Duty, and why it deserves way more credit than it gets today.
