You won't believe this crazy week of Final Fantasy News. FF7 Remake director said Rebirth is selling well, despite still posting zero numbers or sales figures. With all due respect, their "Trust me, bro" isn't good enough. Millions of OG fans were bait-n-switched by the misleading title "FF7 Remake" by Square Enix. Why should I trust their word if they won't back it up with evidence? Yoshi P hinted that FF7 Rebirth's director Hamaguchi will make Final Fantasy 17. FF7 Revelation will have an even bigger open world than FF7R Part 2. They said that if they "remake" FF6, FF8 or FF9, each would have to b 4-5 separate games (over what I assume is 10+ years). FF7 will have a crossover raid with FF14 called "Beyond the Lifestream". Since a lot of FF7R fans are also FFXIV players, I doubt this will boost sales much. Tifa in Street Fighter 6 will put more eyes on the "Remake" trilogy. Anyway, that's today's insane week of Twitter X posts about Final Fantasy. Enjoy!
