Here it is. I look for low liquidity opportunities that graduate into high liquidity ones.
Liquidity is just how much money is sitting in a coin ready to trade. And the smaller that pool is, the harder the price moves when new money comes in.
Say one coin has a hundred thousand dollars sitting in it and another one has a hundred million. Somebody walks in and buys fifty thousand of each. On the big one that barely registers, price ticks up and nobody even notices. On the small one that same fifty grand is half the entire pool, and the thing rips.
Same buyer. Same money. Completely different outcome.
So I'm trying to already be sitting in the small pool on the day the big money finds it. That's the entire edge.
