I was driving the Travelin' Hamily up Cape Cod National Seashore on the hook of Massachusetts. My wife, scanning the tourist brochure, began to excitedly read me the history of the Marconi station site that was in the park just up the road. I knew at that moment, while we were in the area, I had to get in my first Morse Code POTA activation. I had to get it at at the site of the first trans-Atlantic wireless transmission by Guglielmo Marconi in 1901.
