Construction XP is finally fast enough, but RuneScape’s best active training methods are still needlessly frustrating.
We examine where Construction has landed after the rebalance, including the cost of Eternal Magic planks, the value of workbench furniture, and whether the new rates are appropriate for a skill extending to level 120. The numbers are in a much better place, but stronger XP does not solve the interaction problems that remain.
Construction Contracts still interrupt the player with repeated tier-selection menus, awkward animation delays, cluttered inventories, and a reward system that gives players little reason to keep earning contract points. We compare that experience with Old School RuneScape’s Mahogany Homes loop and ask why RuneScape’s version remains more complicated without becoming more engaging.
We also look at Fort Forinthry’s active Construction training and the larger problem facing the skill: RuneScape now has reasonable AFK and low-intensity options, but it still lacks an active method that is genuinely satisfying to play.
