It has been a ridiculous year. And sometimes I think that games were one of the sole bright moments of it. I toyed with the idea of making a Top 20: that's how many excellent games were out there.

But in the end, people love them top ten lists--they're psychologically pleasing. A staple of the VH1 community.

And who doesn't love VH1?
