Without/Within is an album about the human condition in the surrounding world. It reflects on the boundary our consciousness draws between “without” — the outer universe — and “within” — the inner world, as well as the interconnectedness of all things.
Human beings, like all living matter, are part of the evolving fabric of the universe. Consciousness allows us to look both inward and outward, asking, “What’s happening here? Who are we?” The band seeks a balance between three states: the individual and their mind, the world as it’s perceived, and the unknown that exists beyond perception. The album explores how these seemingly separate realms are intertwined, challenging the boundaries between self and universe.
