In the late 1960's and early 1970s people didn't know whether computers would be a force for good or evil. But Copal banked on it being good, referring to their new digital flip clocks as "Computer Age Clocks." Here we tear into a Copal Caslon 101, Japan's first digital clock and try to see if we can keep a motor going that might be on it's last legs. We also show a quick and easy way to open up the case.
