Detective Prince or Murderous Fiend? Goro Akechi is often a topic of debate when discussing Persona 5. Some find him to be deep and flawed while others see him as uninteresting and all over the place as a character. Persona 5 Royal attempts to shine a brighter light on Akechi and hopefully fix his flaws from the first game. Do they succeed? Is Akechi now the best character in the game or is he still just a plot device?
