What is competence? Why is it missing? How does this relate to chaos?
In this world we find ourselve in, we are now noticing the results of the lack of competence at all levels. The flattening of the world means that the filters provided by hierarchy are gone. That means that competency, which used to be filtered by hierarchy, is no longer required to reach the highest levels of society.
Anyone can broadcast to millions. Anyone can get to a high office in politics. Anyone can write a story. Anyone can act. But can they do it well?
