Forty years ago, The CompanY—Carol Menguito, Meus Bartolome, Annie Quintos, Tetet Tolentino, Tom Calisterio, Bob Acot, Max Aviola, and Moy Ortiz—recorded Smile for A Nightcap with Nescafé.
It was new to us, and we had to learn it fast. Huge thanks to our first musical director, Malou Diaz, for patiently teaching every vocal part—no easy task. This recording reflects the dedication and hard work of that batch, along with the support of our managers, Louie Reyes and Cesar de la Fuente, who made the opportunity possible.
