But it's more than that: it’s a warm bank, it’s a drop-in centre and a rare space for the community to meet. How does the model stay afloat and keep the lights on when everyone is affected by the cost of living crisis? The Guardian video producers Maeve Shearlaw and Christopher Cherry spent time there in the run-up to Christmas, as the locals watched the World Cup, to find out.
