Download my book “Gaia’s Custodians - The emergence of a novel kind of human”. It's a gift.

For a child it’s perfectly fine to just receive. Of course it takes from its parents as much as it needs without second guessing if that’s appropriate. Notice how that’s how we humans treat our collective Mother?
Earth. Gaia.
We blindly take from her and she lovingly provides us with everything that we need, like any mother would do. Even if this exceeds her capacities. She would rather die than to refuse her offspring what it is asking for. This is her nature as a mother.
It’s upon the child to realize by itself when the period of blindly taking is over. This happens organically without force when the child is old enough to care for itself. Quantitative growth slows down and shifts to a qualitative, inner growth. A deepening replaces expansion. Giving instead of taking. Caring instead of being cared for.
It’s time for the coming of age of humanity.
Leaving behind our childish past where we just took and took and took. And growing up into the mature adults our collective Mother needs us to be. Because Mother Gaia is no longer able to sustain 8 billion immature humans. Otherwise everything will collapse.
