Our friend Ate Wammie, took us to the farming town of Madaymen, Kibungan, Benguet because she has some family there. Even though it was summer, it was cold! Well, it stayed below 20C. During the winter it can go below 0C! We picked strawberries, harvested cabbage and potatoes, and enjoyed the lifestyle of Madaymen! Their farms are all on terraces on the mountainside. I guess the climate here is great for the type of vegetables they grow.
