The Clones is a very interesting little scifi action flick from the 1970s, where a scientist discovers he's been cloned, obvs. But there is so much more to the plot beyond that. And in the final third of the movie, someone tries to explain just what the purpose of this is all about.
And it is as gloriously absurd as you could possibly make it. You sit through this entire movie and then finally someone says, "Oh yeah, the clones are gonna control the weather to control the world."
