In this part, we head to the Citadel of Trials to begin the Class Upgrade Side Quest. Upon clearing it, we get the Rat's Tail and take it to the Dragon Caves to show it to King Bahamut. King Bahamut then grants us our Class Upgrades before we begin traveling the world to upgrade our gear.

- Upon upgrades our classes all of our party members gain new abilities:

- The Warrior becomes a Knight which allows him to use low tier White Magic.

- The Thief becomes a Ninja which allows him to use low tier Black Magic as well as use most equipment.

- The Monk becomes a Master and steadily becomes a tank in attack power as he levels up.

- The Red Mage becomes a Red Wizard and is able to use a few higher tiers of Black and White Magic, but still can't use the highest tiers.

- The White Mage becomes a White Wizard allowing her access to every White Magic Spell.

- The Black Mage becomes a Black Wizard allowing him access to every Black Magic Spell.

- Additionally, make sure to turn EXP back on once the Class Upgrades are obtained, assuming it was turned off earlier.
