there's no official release date for season 7 of "the chi" yet. the show was renewed for season 7 in may 2024, just before the second half of season 6 premiered. season 6 is set to wrap up by the end of june 2024. filming for season 7 is expected to start in chicago this summer, so we're probably looking at an early to mid-2025 release.
