Most people don’t hate the Chemex because it’s bad, they hate it because they were taught the wrong rules.

In this video, I break down why Chemex brews disappoint so many people, how V60 advice quietly broke it, and how to fix your Chemex without upgrading anything. And, I give you a Chemex recipe and tweak tips that will leave a smile on your face and a couple empty cups!

Recipe Used In This Vid:
30g Ground Coffee | 500ml Water, Off Boil (95C, drop temp for darker roast)
Thoroughly Rinse Filter
0m 0s - Pour 60-90ml of water over ground coffee, wetting it all thoroughly.
0m 30s - Pour in slow circles up to 350ml total water weight. Pour should finish around 1m 15s.
Wait 30s
1m 45s - Pour in slow circles up to 50ml total water weight. Pour should finish around 1m 15s.

Brew should finish between 4 and 5 minutes.
