The Centre for Digital Innovation (CDI) is one of the UK government’s innovation accelerator programmes, which was announced earlier this year.

Funded by Innovate UK, CDI is a consortium of Greater Manchester universities, GM FE Colleges and industry partners who together have created a supercluster of digital expertise to help the region’s businesses achieve their goals through digital innovation.

Scan had the honour of hosting the 11th CDI Roadshow in February at our headquarters in Bolton. Having the event at a place of business like SCAN created an opportunity to bring industry partners
and colleges together to look at opportunities to collaborate further.

We also got to learn about the opportunities that AI and the CDI program offer, helping to create a future generation of engineers, data scientists and researchers.
