The Cat and the Canary ("YouTube of Horrors" Entry) is my adaptation of my all-time favorite spooky story depicted in the silent film of the same name. It was based on the stage play by John WIllard. Many adaptation were made, including a remake in 1939, starring Bob Hope. The original film, directed by Carl Laemmle, inspired many horror films to come and created the niche genre of haunted mansions visited by an assortment of guests, only to find that murders begin to take place. It is my favorite type of horror/ suspense film. I have linked both the 1927 silent film and the 1939 remake, both available on YouTube! Please enjoy my Sims 4 recreation of this house and story (with much artistic license).
