Bringing a long-time fantasy to reality here....Virtually, that is.
I have performed dozens of experiments and made hundreds of shoots trying to make a video inspired by a scene in the 1962 movie GUNS OF DARKNESS. I saw it when I was a child and it always stuck with me.
I made one short movie, but the video includes a few more clips with variations in vehicle, characters and scenario, though all still loosely based on the old movie scene.
The short experiments all start at or near their primary peril scenes, and do not include a story leading up to them as the main movie does.
CAST:
The main movie features a known character of mine (Daisy Mae) plus a new one.
The first experimental clip includes a known character who has not performed in a video yet (Skylar) and also introduces a second new lass to the group nobody has laid eyes upon yet.
2nd experiment uses 3 known and well-loved characters (who could they be?). This one includes boot footwear for my boot-loving fans. I hope it's good enough.
I tried to include the actual 1962 movie scene itself that inspired all of this, but copyright limits prevented me when YT decided to block it in the U.K. as well as many other territories. I don't want to leave out our British sinking fans, so I removed the video, deleted the copyrighted material and re-upped it. Just search YouTube for GUNS OF DARKNESS to see it.
