In April 1983 Linda Moulton Howe walked into an office at Kirtland Air Force Base and was handed about a dozen typed pages she was allowed to read but not copy. The cover letter was addressed to the President of the United States on the subject of unidentified aerial craft. Somewhere around the third or fourth page she reached a paragraph that has never left her, and this episode is the story of what it said.
Along the way the film traces the leaked SOM1-01 special operations manual, printed in 1954 on a government printing press at Kirtland and authenticated by aerospace engineer Robert Wood after a fax arrived from Stanton Friedman. It is a document that divides extraterrestrial biological entities into two distinct types, sets out how recovered craft and bodies were to be handled, and states plainly that the media and the public were never to know.
From the 1947 New Mexico crashes near Corona, and a second craft not found until 1949 at Horse Mesa, to the surviving entity held in a deep underground base who taught his handlers to work a communications device before he died in 1952, the thread runs all the way to the Yellow Book: a crystalline object that reportedly opens into a 3D hologram holding the history of our planet, and of Zeta Reticuli, depending on how you hold it.
