Introducing... The Versatile Capers is the first studio album by London, ON band The Capers. Versatile is right. These guys do anything and everything, and you'd better believe it's done right. They do lounge and pop and garage rock and country-western and showtunes and anything you can think of. They can play Yakety Sax and yodel and make the Hammond organ fun to listen to and I could go on for days. How these guys never got anywhere has to be some kind of a fluke. Maybe it was the mastering. Then again my copy is quite beat. Either way I really do hope you enjoy this record as much as I did. This album was most likely made for the Youngstown, OH audience who saw them often, given it was pressed there. Back cover shows who does lead vocals on each track.
